"We are a sent people, we dont have rights to put down roots."

So this past week in chapel a man named Brad Buser spoke. If you have never heard of him you need to watch the video that I posted with this post.

I heard him speak for the first time in Mexico when I was a senior in high school. He is one of the main reasons that I want to do missions to this day. I think it is so cool to see how God works, bringing him back into my life when it seemed like just the right time.

Although I may not be the one climbing through the jungle, I have been confirmed again that spreading the Word of God and showing his love to all people is exactly what I want to do with my life.

His message is challenging and convicting, he talks about how missions isn't a "calling" its a command. "Jesus had many topics he addressed before he was crucified... marriage, loving one another, forgiving.... but after he rose he only focused on one thing.. GO INTO ALL THE WORLD!

Time management

So i love going to the gym, but I always get bored on the machines. Well, today I decided to take my bible along and read while I was on the bike. I enjoyed my time so much more, and barely even noticed I was exercising.

My challenge this week is to constantly use my time wisely! I believe being a "waster of time" is one of my biggest struggles, and not a pleasing lifestyle to the Lord.

Don't waste your life

I recently started reading this book that my dad gave me. It's one of those books that hits home in a hard but good way. Every time i put it down I am convicted that I need to live an intentional life. I would recommend it to anyone who is actively seeking Christ in their life. John Piper is an amazing example of Christ and I love learning from this wise man!

A woman after God's own heart.

The Lord is constantly blessing me, and I feel so unworthy. This week at my school was "Women's United Week" and I enjoyed it immensely. Having time set aside to spent with my girlfriends digging into the word of God learning how to become women after God's heart is such a blessing. My greatest desire is to be an encourager to my fellow sisters in Christ, and this week has reminded me of that.

Of course when you get a bunch of girls together the subject of boys/marriage comes up! I love to be reminded what a beautiful thing a marriage can be and what a blessing from the Lord it truly is. That has been on my mind alot lately, probably also because of a beautiful wedding I was able to attend this weekend. It was such a great example of what love WITH Christ can look like and what a blessing marriage is. I'm so excited to experience that kind of love that God has (hopefully, haha) in store for me.

I pray that I am daily growing and changing in the Lord to truly become a woman after God's own heart.
